30-05-08: GROUND DAMAGE – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Due to series of recent incidents where trespassers have entered the ground and ruined the pitch as well as damaging club property the club would like to appeal for volunteers to run regular patrols during the summer evenings. Patrols will require just 5-10 minutes of your time and the more volunteers that we can get the easier it will be to fill the patrol slots and help deter the trespassers. Meanwhile, the club will be looking to activate the CCTV system and also improve the security of the ground.
Those willing to help please contact the Groundsman Elfed Morris on 07950 893494

03-05-08: VICE CHAIRMAN RESIGNS
After four years on the board, the club regret to announce that Vice Chairman and Director Andy Owens has announced his resignation due to increased work commitments in order to spend more time with his family.
Mr. Owens stated: “Following the end of the season I have taken stock of my various increasing personal commitments. As a result I feel unable to devote the time needed to serve the club. As such I will end my formal club role which will give me more time to spend with my family.
I would like to thank all those who have been so supportive to me personally and rallied to the various appeals I have made in recent seasons, especially in the difficult times we have had. The club has made massive strides in the last 4 years or so, it is something to take pride in, and without the backing from the supporters we would not be in the position we are. I look forward to taking up my spot on the terrace in the new season”
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Andy for his valuable contribution and commitment to the club during his time on the board. |
