Unchanged squad for Guiseley game

THE Seagulls take an unchanged squad for Tuesday’s game at fifth-placed Guiseley as they look to defend their unbeaten away record in the Vanarama Conference North.
Rob Hopley is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after getting 20 minutes against Gainsborough last Saturday and suffering no reaction to a recent calf injury, but manager Frank Sinclair says he won’t finalise his side until they get to the ground.
The Seagulls have scored seven goals in winning their last two games, against Leamington and Gainsborough Trinity, to move into the top eight of the table and Sinclair said: “We have played some good football and created chances, but we are expecting a tough game at Guiseley.”
Guiseley, who are three points above Colwyn Bay, conceded seven goals in losing their last two home games against Gainsborough (3-1) and Gloucester City (4-1), but bounced back with a 3-0 away victory at Brackley last Saturday to move back into the top five.
The Yorkshire team’s manager Mark Bower said: “It is always tough against Colwyn Bay and after our last two defeats at home there is a bit of pressure on us, but hopefully that will bring the best out of our players and we will continue to create chances.”
