Sinclair brings Rey on board

MANAGER Frank Sinclair has signed striker Aaron Rey as a non-contract player.
The 31-year-old scored 12 goals in helping Hednesford Town gain promotion to the Conference North in 2012/13 and has had spells with a number of clubs including Bangor City, Marine, Chorley and Vauxhall Motors. He also had a short spell at Colwyn Bay in 2011 but made only one brief appearance as a substitute before signing for Marine.
Manager Frank Sinclair said: “Aaron was unfortunate to get a groin injury early in pre-season which has held him back, but he is a player who can put himself about up front and will be a useful addition to the squad.”
Meanwhile Frank says he is looking to try and bring in another centre half following Tuesday’s shock 5-0 defeat at Warrington.
“Defensively we looked poor and didn’t deal with the physicality of Warrington’s front men. That was very disappointing and is something we have to address straight away.
“Pre-season had been going pretty smoothly and this was definitely a setback, but I’m glad it has happened now rather than Saturday, so we can use the rest of the week to try and do something about it.”
