SEAGULLS boss Alan Morgan has beaten a number of clubs for the signature of Welsh Futsal international midfielder Craig Pritchard.
The 21-year-old was Denbigh Town’s number 10 playmaker last season and Rhyl were among the clubs keen to sign him.
But he says he wanted to have a go in the English pyramid as it offers more opportunities to progress in the game.
Craig has recently returned from playing a double header for the Wales Futsal team in Andora, where they won one and lost one, and he was in the Wales squad that played in the Futsal Home Internationals in Edinburgh where he scored his first international goal in an 8-0 win over Northern Ireland.
A product of the Chester and Airbus Academies, Craig has great stamina and helped Denbigh finish runners-up behind Cymru Alliance champions Caernarfon Town last season.
A REMINDER that next week’s friendly against Crewe Alexandra has been brought forward 24 hours and will now be played on Tuesday July 10th (7:45pm).
This is due to the possibility of England playing in the World Cup semi-finals next Wednesday, the original date for the Crewe game.
Admission prices for pre-season games are: £5 adults, £3 concessions (OAPS and 16-21 years), £1 for Under 16s.
FOLLOWING trials for the new Reserve team this week, manager Chris Thompson is holding an Open training session on the 3G pitch at Llandrillo College next Tuesday (July 10th) from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. All interested players are welcome.
