THE Seagulls made it three games unbeaten, but had to settle for a point as bottom four rivals Marine came from behind to force a 2-2 draw.
After ex-Seagull Lloyd Ellams had hit the bar, Marine took the lead after 33 minutes through Lewis Codlington, only for Carl Lamb to pull Colwyn Bay level two minutes later.
Jordan Harper, who came on as a first half substitute for injured James Graham and provided the cross for Lamb’s goal, then scored himself a minute into the second half to put the Seagulls in front.
Harper later had another goal ruled out for offside while home keeper Cooper made two outstanding saves to deny Lamb and Bradley Bauress, but after Bay keeper Connor Hunt had made a diving save from Codlington, Marine grabbed an equaliser in the 71st minute from Andy Nicholas to rescue a point.
It means the Bay missed out on the chance to climb above their rivals and go level on points with fifth-bottom Whitby.
