Two late goals saw the Bay hit back to secure their first point of the Skrill North season at home to Guiseley, in a match which finished 2-2 at Llanelian Road.
The Bay had been trailing 2-0 after goals from Danny Ellis in the first half and Craig Hobson on 61 minutes. But the visitors were reduced to ten men seven minutes later when Hobson received his second yellow card. That proved to be the games’s turning point as with five minutes remaining Paul Ennis pulled a goal back and in injury time the home side levelled, with Rob Hopley applying the final touch from substitute Cameron Darkwah’s shot.
“I thought we showed some of the spirit that we had in that run at the end of last season and that was good to see,” Frank Sinclair told Tim Channon.
“Having Rob Hopley back was a bonus and he made a difference, as did Cameron Darkwah and Ed Moss when they came on.”
