The Seagulls have reached agreement with Wrexham to take Jonathan Royle on a second spell on loan and he will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s away game at Hyde.
The 19-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, was at Colwyn Bay on a season-long loan last season, interrupted by injury, making 22 appearances and scoring three goals.
He returns initially until January 5th 2015.
Manager Frank Sinclair said: “Obviously I’m pleased to strengthen our squad, especially after a difficult start. We have been chasing the re-signing of Jonathan for a while, but have had to be patient with his involvement in Wrexham’s first team.”
Wrexham believe playing regular football last season at the Bay greatly enhanced Royle’s game and they are hoping that will continue.
He signed a professional contract for Wrexham last year after completing his scholarship, and made his first team debut for them in the final game of the 2012/13 season against Mansfield Town.
