A PENALTY by new signing Lewis Sirrell gave the Reserves a 1-0 victory over Llandudno Junction Reserves in their opening league game of the new campaign.
The Bay also hit the post and the bar and had a shot cleared off the line, while Sion Noble missed a good chance to double the lead.
Manager Chris Thompson said: “We played well in parts and broke them down well when we passed the ball around.
“We need a bit more composure up front and more energy in midfield. We also rode our luck at times with careless errors, but overall I am happy with the progression from midfield.”
