THE Reserves are step closer to the title in the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Reserve Division after a 2-0 win at Llanberis tonight (April 27).

Goals from Cory Williams, playing his second game in two days, and Adam Whitlock secured the points which puts the Bay, with three league games to go, 12 points clear at the top of the table from Denbigh Town who have  games to play.

The result was also a boost  for the Bay ahead of the  League Cup final against Llanberis at Bangor City’s ground on May 10th.

Manager Chris Thompson said: “The pitch was poor, but I was particularly  impressed with the way we battled tonight, because that has been missing from our a game a little bit recently.”

The Reserves next match is at Glan Conwy on Bank Holiday Monday (May 2nd) with a 2.30pm kick off.
