Reserve team manager Chris Thompson has selected a squad of 18 or 19 after holding a final trial session on Tuesday evening.
The new squad then had their first training session tonight (Wednesday) and will face three weeks of fitness work before playing their first pre-season friendly away to Shevington (near Wigan) on Saturday July 20th.
Two additional matches, away to Betws-yn-Rhos on 31 July and Bethesda on 8 August have also been arranged along with previous arranged games at Pwllheli (23 July) and Amlwch (3 August).
Chris says he has been impressed with the standard he has seen in the trial sessions and he is confident he has a squad that will prove competitive in the North Wales Reserve League.
“The standard has been brilliant to be fair, very good, and I have been impressed,” he said. “We have selected a squad now with a good set of lads who are looking forward to the season.”
