Challinor, 33, is an experienced defender who joined Bury in 2004 after a spell at Stockport County who bought him from Tranmere for a six-figure fee. Through this period, Dave has over 400 leagues games appearances to his name.
A vocal player who constantly uses his experience to help organise from the back Challinor (pictured) famously holds the world record for the longest throw in football which proved to be a lethal weapon in several of Rovers` victories on the way to the 2000 Worthington Cup Final and has also shown its worth since joining Colwyn Bay FC
