CHRIS SANNA
DOB: 2nd July 1987
Colwyn Bay FC has re-signed former Welsh youth international goalkeeper Chris Sanna for the 2009/10 season.
Previously with Worcester City in the Conference South Chris was then offered a contract at Chester City after impressing on trial during pre-season training in 2008/09 but Chris decided to remain part-time.
A former regular in Stoke City’s reserve team he also had a spell on loan at Watford. Chris’s experience played a huge part in the clubs success last season and has become a firm favourite amongst the fans after having better luck than his previous two brief spells with the Seagulls.
He was injured in only his second game after being signed by Peter Davenport in January 2007, and then left the club, and then was signed by Steve Pope but suffered a back injury after only 5 minutes in his first game at Durham and was again replaced.
He once again came back to the Bay last season where he wowed the Colwyn Bay support with his outstanding bravery and quality saves.
