DAN NOLAN, who was fitness coach under Frank Sinclair and joint assistant manager under Gus Williams, won’t be involved with the first team next season as new manager Ash Hoskins plans changes to the backroom staff.
Dan hopes to stay on at the club to help Chris Thompson with the reserves and has issued this statement:

IT is with great disappointment I announce my departure from all first team activities at Colwyn Bay FC.
After the initial shock of Gus’s decision to stand down as manager, I had hoped to stay as part of the staff in any capacity in order to help the club regain its rightful status as a Vanarama Conference North club.
This opportunity however has not been extended by the new manager Ashley Hoskin, to whom I wish the best of luck in his endeavours to piece together a team that will compete on multiple fronts this coming season and will entertain the Llanellian Road faithful.
Given I was not able to thank everyone at the presentation evening for how I have been welcomed and treated over my two and a half year association with the club, I would like to take this opportunity to do so.
To the Chairmen I have worked for, especially current incumbent Dave Titcher, and board for their complete support. Frank Sinclair who gave me the opportunity to join this great club, all the players who have played, trained and listened, all the volunteers whose help makes everything possible, the loyal supporters who have been there through this roller coaster with us and especially Gus Williams who has acted as a colleague, friend and mentor throughout my time.
I intend to keep my association with the club by helping the reserve team in any way possible, always with the hope to bring local talent through.
I have become and will stay a supporter of Colwyn Bay FC, and wish everyone every success in the future. Up the Gulls!
