COLWYN BAY VS BAMBER BRIDGE
Colwyn Bay started the brighter with the wind on their backs and pinned Bamber bridge back in their own half for much of the first half.

Tim Brandreth nearly gave the Bay the lead, but his fierce strike was cleared off the line.

With Clampitt and Macauley going close, the Bay’s pressure finally paid off on the half hour mark when Denson smashed his shot goal bound from outside the box. Tom McGill stuck out his foot and back heeled the ball past the helpless Mike Hale.

The second half was a different game as Bamber now had the wind and it was their turn to dominate.

Colwyn Bay rode their luck at times, but as a rule, they kept Bamber Bridge out of the danger area and kept many of their shots from distance which is bread and butter to Chris Sanna.

As the game went into the final ten minutes, you could have heard a pin drop at Llanelian Road as every home supporter prayed for their team to hold on.  And hold on they did as they collected a very hard earned three points against play off favourites Bamber Bridge.
