MASCOT MAYHEM!!
Over the past two weeks, local school children have been participating in the Colwyn Bay Football Club’s “Mascot Mayhem” Project run by Colwyn Bay Football in the Community (CBFITC) in conjunction with Communities First. The children have been designing and coming up with names for the club’s first ever Mascot! Once they finished their designs, they had a training session by the CBFITC coaches on the first team football pitch.  Their designs, names and ideas will be passed on to a panel of judges who will then decide on a winner.

The lucky and talented winner will have the opportunity to see his/her design being transferred over to a computer and then actually being made in the same factory where “Fred the Red”, “Moon City” and the FIFA Confederations Cup mascots were born!

The Mascot will then be unveiled at one of our Home games and the winner will be presented with the Birth Certificate.

There is just the small matter of finding someone to don the costume...any volunteers?!!
