Home tie in FA Cup

fa_cupTHE Seagulls have been given a home tie against Harrogate Railway Athletic in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup to be played on Saturday September 27th (3pm).
Harrogate RA are currently 16th in the Evostik Division One North, having won only two of their six league games so far, but they had a good 3-1 home win over Clitheroe in the FA Cup last weekend, having won away at Garforth Town in the previous round.
Colwyn Bay last played Harrogate Railway in the 2009/10 season when they did a league double over them, winning 2-0 at home with goals from Anthony Sheridan and Alex Titchiner, and 3-1 away.
The winners of next week’s tie at Colwyn Bay will pick up £4,500 in prizemoney as well as moving to within two rounds of the first round proper.
Colwyn Bay FC remind supporters that season tickets are NOT valid for FA Cup and FA Trophy ties.
