Gaz Grant is expected to be back to face Radcliffe.

Gaz Grant is expected to be back in defence to face Radcliffe.

THE  Seagulls are likely to have Gaz Grant back in the centre of defence for Tuesday’s (Oct 18) home game against Radcliffe Borough (7:45pm kick off) as they look to build on a run of six wins in the last seven games.

Gaz was unavailable for last Saturday’s 2-1 win away to Kendal Town but is expected to return, allowing Kyle Armstrong to possibly move into a defensive midfield role.
It is unlikely that international clearance will come through in time for new forward signing Jack Kelleher to be involved and Michael Roddy is maybe a couple of weeks away from being considered as he looks to build up his match fitness.
Otherwise, manager Paul Moore reports a near full strength squad with Shaun Dowling  also nearing full fitness after an angle ligament injury.
Radcliffe travel to the Bay on the back of a thumping 5-1 home win over struggling Goole last weekend and only Clitheroe and Glossop have scored more goals than them in the league this season.
The Seagulls, however, are targeting a hat-trick of back to back Saturday-Tuesday victories in the past month to maintain their challenge for a top four spot and take them above Farsley Celtic who lost 2-1 at leaders Brighouse on Monday.
A presentation is planned before the game to Luke Denson following his 200th competitive game for the Bay last weekend.
