Frank Sinclair said the 3-1 win over Solihull Moors in the Skrill North was the perfect response following the Bay’s FA Cup exit to Corby last weekend. Bay ended Moors’ unbeaten record and registered their first home league win of the season.
“I think I probably have to shoulder some of the responsibility for the cup defeat because on reflection maybe I could have prepared the players a bit better,” Frank told Tim Channon.
“I picked a side that should have been capable of beating Corby and too many players didn’t perform on the day, so I asked them for a big response today and I certainly got it,” he said.
“We have added quality to the squad with the recent signings we have made and that showed today. If we can continue to marry that with our good work ethic then I have no doubts at all that we will climb the table.”
