Colwyn Bay will face Corby Town at home in the FA Cup Fourth Fourth Qualifying Round.

Corby were relegated from the Conference North last season and are currently 13th in the Southern League Premier Division. When the sides met last season at Llanelian Road in March, an Alex Meecham goal was enough to secure a 1-0 win for the Bay.

Manager Frank Sinclair was pleased with a home draw and told Tim Channon: “I don’t think we could have asked for much better than that.

“To get through to the first round proper for the first time in 16 years would be unbelievable and that is what we will be striving to do.

“It is just as big a game for Corby, of course, so it will be tough, but we will do our homework on them.”

The game is scheduled for Saturday, 26 October. That means Bay’s game at Gloucester City, which was scheduled for that day, will now have to be rearranged.
