THE Seagulls must travel to Yorkshire in the preliminary round of the Emirates FA Cup after being draw away to Shaw Lane Association (Barnsley).
The tie is to be played on Saturday August 20th.
Shaw Lane, bolstered by the signing of striker James Walshaw, finished runners-up in the Evostik Division One South last season, but missed out on when they lost 3-1 to Coalville Town in the play-off final.
In the FA Trophy, Colwyn Bay have been drawn at home to Hyde United in the preliminary round on October 8 and if they win that , they will be at home again to either Witton Albion or Brighouse on October 29.
A qualifying round tie against Witton, of course, could see Rob Hopley making a playing return to Llanelian Road, as well as pitting Danny Andrews and Tom Schofield against their former club.
