ABOUT THE ELITE PERFORMANCE CENTRE
Colwyn Bay Football Club have entered into a partnership with the Conwy County Schools’ Football Association in order to provide a unique programme of enhanced development for the selected young players within their Under 11 and Under 12 Squads.

The squads consist of the best young talent in the area and play under the Colwyn Bay Elite Performance Centre banner.

Launched in October 2009, Colwyn Bay Football Club provide a monthly programme of enhanced provision for the young players which include high quality games against premier league opposition and a top-class coaching programme.

• To create a working partnership with the Conwy County Schools’ Football Association to enhance the provision for selected young players within the area.
• To provide a structured programme of provision to ensure that young players achieve their maximum individual potential.
• To create an environment to provide the highest level of personal care for the young players.
• Provide a complete support package for young players and parents.
• Provide young players with  Coaching and Playing opportunities of the highest standards.

OBJECTIVES

• To provide facility for the young players to achieve their maximum potential and embark upon the “Player Pathways”  within Welsh Football.
• To enhance progression prospects through the North Wales Regional Squads through to the National Development Squad.
• To provide regular quality coaching based upon a structured programme of provision to meet the players individual needs.
• To provide a quality Coached Games programme which will challenge and enhance the development of the young players.
• To provide additional support for the Conwy County Schools’ Football Association with their participation in the Fixtures Programme of the Welsh Schools’ Football Association.

The first fixture against premier league Everton took place at their multi-million pound Finch Farm facility on Wednesday 11th October.

As part of this partnership the Club will provide additional support for the weekly sessions conducted by the Schools’ Association.

Periodic indoor seminars with a number of high profile speakers are also held at the club in order to further enhance the development potential for the boys through to the Regional and National Squads.
