Danny Taylor capped an excellent season by winning two awards at Colwyn Bay’s end of season presentation night.
The 22-year-old right back was voted the Player’s Player of the Season and also took the Supporters’ Player of the season trophy.
Marc Williams was named as the Manager’s Player of the Year for the impact he made on the team since joining the club.
Other players to win awards were :Tom Smyth (East Midlands and Norwegian branches of the supporters Club Player of the Season); Jamie Crowther (Most Improved Player); Anthony Stevens (Chairman’s Young Player of the Season); Rob Hopley (Top goal scorer with 16); and Gareth Evans (Most appearances, with 46 out of 47 games).
All the players received medals for achieving the club’s highest points total in three seasons in the Conference North.
There was also a Lifetime Achievement award (the Elfed Morris Memorial award) to 84-year-old club stalwart Glyn Jabbas Jones, and a Life Membership award to former club secretary Grant McIndoe who is retiring after 11 years as a member of the board.
