Manager Frank Sinclair is calling for a big response from his players following the FA Cup exit when they host Solihull Moors in the Skrill North on Saturday.
Moors boast the division’s only unbeaten record and are level on points with table-toppers Hednesford Town, Bay’s opponents next Tuesday.
“We’ve got some huge games coming up in the league and if we don’t pick up points, particularly in our two games in hand, we are going to be dragged into a relegation battle,” Frank told the North Weekly News.
Sinclair believes the recent signings of Marc Williams (cup-tied against Corby) and Sean Williams will make a difference in the coming weeks.
“We definitely missed Marc against Corby because of his control on the ball and having him back in the team will be a big plus for us,” said Frank.
“Sean has not had much football recently at Halifax and will need a few games to get fully into his stride, but I thought he showed enough on Saturday to see what he can bring to the team.”
