The parents of the late Gary Speed will be presented to both teams prior to kick-off in the Bay’s final pre-season match against Leeds United on Tuesday.
Gary Speed, who died in 2011, started his career at Leeds United and was a key member of the team who won the First Division title in 1992.
Bay Vice President John Martin, who was a friend of the former Wales captain and manager, has arranged for Gary’s parents Roger and Carol Speed to meet both teams ahead of the game.
“Roger Speed is delighted to help as he was up and down to Leeds when Gary was young and has lot of affection for the club and also for us,” John Martin said.
“Leeds are also delighted to take part in the presentation.”
Meanwhile the Bay hope to have one new signing in their squad for the game, which is their last before the start of the Skrill North season away to Histon on Saturday.
Former Spurs, Sunderland and Wigan defender Pascal Chimbonda has agreed to turn out for the Seagulls against Leeds.
