THE Board of Directors of Colwyn Bay Football Club wish to confirm that they have accepted the resignation of Mr David Messom as both the Chairman and as a Director of the club.
At the extraordinary meeting of the club’s shareholders held towards the end of last season David made clear his intention to step down shortly.
David took over as Chairman at the club 12 months ago and during his tenure the club finished 12th in the Football Conference North, the joint highest position in the club’s history.
The Board of Directors wish to place on record their thanks to David Messom for the time, effort and resources he gave to the club, and recognise too that his living in Rochdale added significantly to his load.
At a Board meeting held on 12th September the Directors asked David Titchener to take the role as Chairman with Kurtis Chapman as Vice Chairman until the AGM to be held later in the year and both agreed.
