Colwyn Bay have been drawn at home to fellow Skrill North side Altrincham in the FA Trophy Third Round Qualifying. The game is scheduled for Saturday, 16 November and the winners of the tie will receive £4,000 in prize money. The sides last met in the FA Trophy during the 1995-96 season with Altrincham winning a First Round replay 2-0 at Moss Lane after a 3-3 draw at Llanelian Road, in which Peter Donnelly (2) and Graham Roberts scored for the Seagulls.
“That is tough. They were my favourites for automatic promotion at the start of the season and, for me, have two of the best strikers in the league,” said manager Frank Sinclair.
“They will bring a good following with them so it should be a good atmosphere and hopefully we can make home advantage tell.”
