Bay Draw Away at Barrow

chrisFirst Team

Colwyn Bay extend their run of unbeaten games to 6 with a draw away to Barrow.

On a difficult pitch, the seagulls took the lead against the run of play when a long ball forward by Frank Sinclair was not dealt with in the opposition box and Ed Moss scored from a deflected shot on 44 minutes.

Bay defended resolutely for the second half, but conceded on 68 minutes where Gareth Arnison volleyed in from the penalty spot.

Both sides had chances to win the game, with Smyth rattling the crossbar from a corner, and Barrow themselves hitting the crossbar and also having a chance cleared off the line, but Bay held on so their trip back from Cumbria wasn’t totally disappointing.
