Manager Frank Sinclair felt his side deserved their 1-0 Boxing Day win over Vauxhall Motors, which extended Bay’s unbeaten run to five games in the Skrill North.
“I think we deserved it because we played well first half, got the lead and perhaps could have got a couple more to make the second half a bit more comfortable,” Frank told Tim Channon.
“But credit to Vauxhall, they came out second half and had a right go. They went a bit more direct after half-time and caused us problems, but we worked hard to protect what we had.
“The momentum is with us at the moment and winning becomes a good habit. We’ve had a good month with four wins on the spin and the boys are upbeat and playing with a lot of confidence.”
