FRANK SINCLAIR has added Jonathan Royle, back at the club on loan from Wrexham, and Moustapha Saiel, whose international clearance has finally come through, to his squad as the Seagulls chase their first league win of the campaign at bottom side Hyde on Saturday.
He is leaving his team selection until the last minute, however, with Rob Hopley facing a late fitness test on a calf injury suffered against Boston last weekend.
It is the start of a hectic bank holiday weekend, which sees Colwyn Bay at home to newly promoted AFC Fylde on Monday afternoon (3pm), but manager Frank Sinclair said: “Two games in three days is a big test for a small squad, but we are concentrating on one game at a time and all we are thinking about right now is getting a result at Hyde.
“That will be tough because (after three successive defeats) they are under pressure to deliver as well, but I feel, with the football we’ve played, we should have got more from the games we’ve played and if we can cut out the unforced defensive errors that have cost us in a couple of games, then we should be okay.”
The squad are still without injured Paulo Mendes, but he is said to be progressing well from a hairline fracture in his foot and could resume training by the end of next week.
