PERFECT PROM DAY
CBFC and CBFITC had a great and successful time at their stall during the yearly Prom Day event last Bank Holiday Monday. With leaflets and flyers we promoted all aspects of the club and its success on and off the pitch, with Football in the Community the main focus with the Prom Day Public. Vi-Ability
Colwyn Bay Football in the Community’s (CBFITC) Vi-Ability project began on the 14th of April 2010. It will provide the participants with knowledge on subjects such as I.T. Marketing, P.R. as well as provide them with certain types of qualifications; coaching badges, First aid, Health and Hygiene.

As part of our Football in the Community Program we will be running Soccer Camps during the Half Term Holiday period. Soccer Coaching by Chris Whitley FAW Trust Uefa “A” badge coach and qualified FAW Coaches.

Colwyn Bay FC and Colwyn Bay Football in the Community at Prom Day
CBFC and CBFITC will have a stall at the yearly Prom Day event this Bank Holiday Monday, the 3rd of May. We will be promoting the club and the community department and all their activities. We will be situated by the grass bank in Rhos on Sea, in between the Live Stage and the Navy simulator.
We will be hosting various fun activities for children of all ages but we will also look to entertain the adults. Some examples include; “beat the keeper” with our very own Number 1 Chris Sanna, “target shootout”, “football bowling” just to name a few...
We will also have a raffle with the opportunity to win a signed CBFC shirt or Football and many more fantastic prizes!

Abergele youngsters in street soccer session!
On Tuesday the 30th of March Colwyn Bay football in the community (CBFITC) in partnership with local police officers, youth workers and fire fighters delivered a street soccer session. Coaches Christian Fontana, Joey Fontana and Aaron Evans gave youngsters in Pentre Mawr Park Abergele a chance to show off their striking ability with a "Beat the Goalie" competition, children from 10 to 16 years of age participated as they showed their nerve from the penalty spot!
The children also demonstrated their skills in a kick ups duel with the winners getting tickets to a Colwyn Bay FC home fixture. Despite the weather, fun was had by all and after various football drills the young adults were treated to a game to show off the skills they had learnt.

Colwyn Bay Football in the Community is once again holding a stall in the Bay View centre in Colwyn Bay this Saturday the 3rd of April, situated by Morrisons Supermarket.

CBFC Elite Performance Centre takes on Premier League Academy
Our boys from the Elite Performance Centre did us proud on Wednesday the 28th of October when they visited Everton’s training ground (Finch Farm) to play respective teams from the Everton Youth Academy.
