Best we’ve played – Sinclair

Frank Sinclair was full of praise for his players after the 3-2 win at Stalybridge Celtic. Goals from Sean Williams, Marc Williams and Gaz Evans saw the Bay claim the three points despite Anthony Stephens’ second half sending off.

“I rate that first 45 minutes as the best we’ve played in the year that I have been manager,” Frank told T”After that brilliant first half we would have easily seen the game out with 11 men, but saying that with 10 men we stuck at it and defended really well. They couldn’t break us down and there were some unbelievable individual performances today.

“The two Williams (Marc and Sean) were superb, the whole of the back four and again everyone has put in a shift.

“All three goals were fantastic and especially the third which, as a team goal, was different class, as was Sean Willo’s strike for the first.

“We’ve got to be the form team in the league at the moment. Five wins in December? You can’t get better than that and at the minute I don’t fear playing anybody.”
