Striker Williams joins Bay

Colwyn Bay have signed former Wrexham and Chester forward Marc Williams.
Williams, 25, played nearly 80 games for Wrexham, scoring 17 goals, before switching to Kidderminster Harriers in 2011. He joined Chester in February 2012 and helped them win promotion to the Conference Premier last season. But surprisingly he was not offered a new contract by Neil Young at the start of this season.
Since then he has been with Northwich Victoria where he has scored six goals in the past month.
“He is a good player who wants a chance to play at this level again and he is the sort of goalscoring forward we need at the moment,” manager Frank Sinclair told Tim Channon.
